Renewable energy has reached its singularity!
“Renewables overtake coal in electricity generation.”

Victor Hugo once said, “Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.” in 2025, that idea is renewable energy.

Solar power becomes the cheapest energy option; “Economies of scale realized!”

Now, most countries around the world will review their energy mixes, placing renewable energy generation at the core and considering nuclear or gas power as supplementary forms of generation.

“Solar and wind power are experiencing high growth potential – pay attention!”
Coal consumption is declining, while nuclear power has only seen a slight increase. Nuclear power generation could possess new future growth potential, such as SMR development, in response to increasing AI power demand.

However, South Korea remains one of the few countries where renewable energy is expensive.

South Korea presents a paradox where renewables remain expensive due to geographical constraints and grid isolation. This highlights the complex reality of the global energy transition.
Therefore, the South Korean government is seeking to promote offshore wind power generation, realize economies of scale through large-scale investment in renewable energy, and reduce the cost of power generation.
